Georgeson, Robin –

March 28th, 1954 – August 6th, 2016
After a very short and courageous battle with cancer, Robin peacefully closed her eyes, with her family by her side, on Saturday, August 6th at the age of 62.
Robin was a loving wife and best friend to her husband Alan who will miss her terribly. She loved her home and garden, golfing and spending happy times on the porch with wonderful neighbourhood friends sipping a glass of red wine.
Her daughter Stephanie; her “little girl”, was her pride and joy as was her grandson Lucas (8) who loved his sleepovers with Grandma and Grandpa. Robin would always be sure to cook the special meals he so enjoyed and looked forward to. All of us will miss her comforting hugs, sweet voice and infectious laugh.
Robin is survived by her loving parents Garth and Betty Farnham, sister Roxane Smith (Bill), brother Aaron (Leslie), son-in-law Dave Bradley, niece Shannon, nephews Morgan, Brendan, Evan, Daniel, Jay and Joe, and many cousins.
She will be remembered by her extended family in Scotland who love her dearly together with Alan’s daughters Kelly and Lesley and their families.
She was a devoted and proud employee of Niagara Trailers and is missed dearly by all her coworkers and customers who were greeted daily by her sweet, smiling face whenever they walked through the doors. Robin worked previously at Starwood Hotels and CIBC.
A celebration of Robin’s life will take place on Monday, August 22nd from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Piper’s Heath Golf Club, 5501 Trafalgar Road, Hornby, ON and all are welcome to attend. Please bring with you any fond and humorous memories/stories of Robin that you could share with us all.
In lieu of flowers you may wish to make a donation in Robin’s name to the Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton where Dr. Kraeker and his team provided wonderful care and support to Robin and family.

Dear Alan, Stephanie, Lucas and the entire family…..tonight is Robin’s Celebration of Life. I wish I could be there in person to raise a toast to dear Robin. Deepest sympathies once again. May time heal and mend your broken hearts. I do have very fond memories of Robin – her laughter, smile and outlook. She loved all of you very deeply and was beyond overjoyed when little Lucas arrived in the world. Hugs to all. Cynthia Bond
