MERCEY, Nadine Ann (nee Markovich)

MERCEY, Nadine Ann (née Markovich) – July 20th, 1965 – July 25, 2016 Nadine, a woman of immense determination, optimism, and passion died peacefully at Stedman Community Hospice in Brantford, surrounded by family after a short but very courageous battle with cancer. She will be sorely missed by her sons Eric and Jaxon, her parents Bob and Ann Markovich, brother Michael, sister Candace Jentz (John), her neice Ella, her nephew AJ and devoted furry companion Cubo.

Born and raised in Brantford, Nadine’s innate infectious spirit shone brightest as part of the cheerleading team at North Park Collegiate. With this spirit, coupled with her love for music, dance, and fun, there was never a dull moment when you were in her company. Because of her determination and passion, she set a high bar for herself in life. She simultaneously built a very successful career in Real Estate while raising a family. Nadine’s optimism then took over as she built a career as an intuitive healer, cheering people on with debilitating illnesses, and coaching them back to health.

We want to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff and volunteers at Stedman Community Hospice for their warmth, compassion and outstanding care during this very difficult time.

In keeping with Nadine’s spirit, family and friends are invited to join us for a celebration of her life at The Brantford Golf and Country Club on Thursday August 4th, 2016 at 3 pm to 5 pm. Donations in Nadine’s memory may be made to Stedman’s Hospice at (www.sjlc.ca/stedman-community-hospice-1)

She is in a better place, where illness has no part to play, and her beautiful spirit can shine like the rare gem that she is. Not goodbye,
just see you when it is time to. Bless you dear Lady, and thank you for sharing your light with us all.
